The Wood Brothers are musician siblings Chris and Oliver Wood. Chris was a founding member of of the long-running, genre-blasting trio Medeski Martin & Wood, and Oliver played second guitar with Tinsley Ellis before forming King Johnson. As players, they display an easy-going virtuosity; as siblings, they have an extraordinary rapport. Their folk and acoustic blues tunes, tinged with gospel hopefulness and country melancholy, were welcomed like old friends by both fans and pundits.
