After national tours with Sheryl Crow, Jewel and Willie Nelson, a record deal with Atlantic Records, & a four year gig as band leader for the Last Call with Carson Daly show, Firstman moved to the surfing enclave south of LA called El Porto & wrote an album's worth of material titled after the town.
